I support the passage of legislation to establish a permanent Farm to School Grant Program here in Massachusetts. A grant program would provide eligible schools the critical funds needed to be able to provide local food in school meals and offer engaging food education for students. Farm to school empowers children and their families to make informed food choices while strengthening the local economy and contributing to vibrant communities.
